The Atlanta Hawks and CareSource hosted Hispanic Heritage Night on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at State Farm Arena, where various in-game elements, music, dance, food and celebrated the cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latin Americans.

Leading up to the night, the Hawks and CareSource hosted 400 students for a career-readiness panel at Meadowcreek High School. CareSource donated a check towards Meadowcreek High School's work study scholarship fund, which will help underserved Hispanic and Latin American students reach their educational and career goals.

At the game, CareSource was on site with community outreach efforts and expanded its “Don't Miss a Free Throw, Don't Miss a Well Check” challenge as a pre-game activation. As part of a larger celebration of the culture, the Hawks unveiled artwork depicting Harry the Hawk as an alebrije, representative of the popular Mexican folk-art, on various promotional items created by artist, activist and public speaker Yehimi Cambrón. Latin singer-songwriter sibling duo Nina Sky, whose infectious song “Move Yo Body” helped propel the group to the top of the Billboard charts, performed at halftime. Singer-songwriter Sirena Grace performed the national anthem and Los Mariachis, a traditional mariachi band, performed in the concourses prior to the game and at the end of halftime. Halftime also featured a riveting dance performance from Karen y Ricardo, international salsa competitors.

In September 2022, the Atlanta Hawks and CareSource announced a multi-year agreement that included initiatives focused on the health and wellness of the Atlanta community and underserved families. Throughout this integrated partnership, CareSource and the Hawks will work together to make a meaningful impact on Atlanta's culture through special nights and community events.
